Omar Suleiman (born June 3, 1986) is an American Islamic scholar and civil rights activist. He is the founding president of the Yaqeen Institute for Islamic Research and an adjunct professor of Islamic studies and member of the Ethics Center Advisory Board at Southern Methodist University .
Yaqeen Institute was founded by American Muslim scholar Omar Suleiman and is based in Irving, Texas. [6] In the past, its published works have covered a variety of topics at the intersection of Islam, including perennialism, international politics, parenting, and historical preservation of Islamic texts.
