Suffolk County (/ ˈ s ʌ f ə k / SUF-ək) is the easternmost county in the U.S. state of New York, constituting the eastern two-thirds of Long Island.It is bordered to its west by Nassau County, to its east by Gardiners Bay and the open Atlantic Ocean, to its north by Long Island Sound, and to its south by the Atlantic Ocean.

Fort Hill Estate is a historic estate located at Lloyd Harbor in Suffolk County, New York. The estate home is a monumental brick and limestone Tudor Revival style structure built as a summer home in 1879, and enlarged in 1900. It is a three-story mansion with an irregular, asymmetrical and sprawling plan which is roughly C-shaped.

Hallock Homestead is a historic farm complex located at Northville in Suffolk County, New York. The farmstead includes five contributing buildings: the main house, barn, milk house, shop / wood house, and privy. The farmhouse was originally built in 1765 as a one-story, five bay structure with a central chimney.
Also on the property are contributing carriage house, equipment barn, garage, caretaker's cottage, swimming pool, storage hut, and archaeological sites. The property was purchased by Robert Barnwell Roosevelt (1829–1906) in 1873; his son John Ellis Roosevelt (1853–1939) commissioned the estate.

The estate home is a rambling, one story flat roofed concrete main house with a two-story circular living room near the center.
