Nuss was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana to Audrey and George. She is the youngest of four children, with older brothers Pete, Jeffrey, and Jordan. Nuss was a multi-sport athlete throughout high school, leading Mount Carmel Academy to three indoor volleyball and two basketball state titles, [2] though beach volleyball was the sport she enjoyed most. She is the beach volleyball leader in career victories as of 2016 having won 135 international and domestic tournaments. [2] Walsh Jennings and teammate Misty May-Treanor were the gold medalists in beach volleyball at the 2004, 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics. They also won the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships in 2003, 2005 and 2007.
Kelly Marie Cheng (née Claes, born September 18, 1995) is an American beach volleyball player. She and her partner Sara Hughes won the bronze medal at the 2013 U19 World Championships, the silver medal at the 2014 U21 World Championships, the gold medal at the 2023 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships and back-to-back NCAA Championships in 2016 and 2017.

Misty Elizabeth May-Treanor (/ ˈ t r eɪ n ər /; née May; born July 30, 1977) is an American retired professional beach volleyball player. She is a three-time Olympic gold medalist, and as of August 2012, was the most successful female beach volleyball player having won 112 tournaments in domestic and international competition.

Kloth attended O'Gorman Catholic High School in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. In her senior season, she had 558 kills, 314 digs, 90 block, and 41 aces, concluding her high school career with 1,137 kills, 744 digs, and two state volleyball titles. [4] She was named the South Dakota Gatorade Player of the Year in 2014. [5]
In 2014 the Beach Volleyball area was constructed so a new Beach Volleyball team could practice in. The team is only for high schoolers. The team is one of the best private school Beach Volleyball teams in Arizona. [7] High School sports for fall include: boys' soccer, girls' volleyball, boys' cross country, girls' cross country.
