Friendship Circle is a collaborative art installation by American artist Lee Kelly and musician Michael Stirling, located in Portland, Oregon's Tom McCall Waterfront Park, in the United States. The installation features a stainless steel sculpture with two 20-foot towers, designed by Kelly, and a 35-minute score composed by Stirling.

Alberta Arts District is a commercial district in Portland, Oregon which connects the Concordia, King and Vernon neighborhoods in the Northeast quadrant of the city. [1] The district centers on NE Alberta Street, and stretches approximately 1.5 miles (2.4 km), from Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard to NE 33rd Avenue.
The goal was to have the center encourage art studios to open and for art related festivals to develop to attract people to downtown after most businesses closed. [8] Traditionally, shops and businesses closed by 6:00 p.m. as workers in the county seat left for the day. [8] The center also is rented out to groups for private functions. [14]
