My circa 2006 Sammy DLP uses the older cord like his, while my just purchased (literally last night) Sammy LED uses the newer two pronged one. OP, you can have my old power cord, but you need to buy my DLP that goes with it.
On the back, you'll find a power cord connector, a status LED for quick reference, a USB-A service port, and a reset button. The remote control remains the same as last year's model, offering straightforward usability which is complemented by an LED display that shows the volume level, selected inputs, sound formats, among other settings.
I bought UN46ES8000 TV from usa and took it to India. I'm using a Voltage converter 240-110v 250w. TV was working fine for past two months and it slowly started to switch off and on once in a while, now it is only giving a click on & off sound and it shows samsung Smar TV screen saver and then again with a click sound it switch off.
About a week ago I bought a 55 inch Sony X90J and the included power cable is too short to reach the surge protector in the room. I am pretty clueless when it comes to determining amps/voltage so I was wondering if anyone give a recommendation for a replacement power cord that is safe to use with the X90J. Length needed is about 12 feet.
My father-in-law has an ancient RCA TV that he refuses to get rid of. The problem is that they just finished moving and he can't find the power cord for the TV. It looks like a "D" style plug on the back of the TV, but it only has 2 prongs. I did a Google search to find a replacement cord, but could not find one.
I'm getting things ready for my TV that will be delivered next week hopefully and I know I will need a longer power cord. Can't get them locally so I need to order one ahead of time. I'm pretty sure Samsung TVs use IEC 320 C7 connections on the back but what I don't know is whether they use polarized or non-polarized connections.
I just broke the little flap off the Optical Audio Out jack on my brand-new Samsung 50" SUHD TV. Thought I had done something stupid, but I see I'm in good company. I think it was a combination of a too-high-quality cable, heavy plug, and restricted space between the back of the TV and the wall mount. Will see if a new Monoprice cable will help.
I connected everything to power and hooked up my HDMI cable to the eARC port of a Samsung QN95C QLED TV. Not only do the wireless surrounds and subwoofer connect automatically, but the Samsung TV identifies the soundbar and activates its Q-Symphony Sound function, which leverages the TV's built-in speakers to improve the overall soundstage.
a. the Samsung one connect only carried a signal, not power, so the 2018 version was smaller b. The 1" smurf tube conduit was the largest I could find available and the largest smurf tube connectors available to purchase from anywhere, even online, were 1" - the 2018 Carlon catalog shows 1/2", 3/4" and 1" as the only available sizes.
The key is to get a cord in the same or lower number gauge. Lower is thicker in this case. Me, I would get a 14 gauge hospital power cord of the desired length. Cablestogo.com has them in various gauges, lengths, and with or without a right angle plug for the subwoofer side. Just search for hospital power cord there or on Amazon.
