Los Angeles - LAX - any in-terminal car rental? - Did a few searches and I am sure the info is buried in the 20 page list of threads, but gave up in frustration... Anyhow, just wondering what (if any) car rental companies have their cars on-site at LAX? I've rented from National before, but wouldn't mind paying a
Rental Car Discussion - LAX rental car shuttles - At LAX, the rental car lot requires a shuttle / bus to get there (not a train like some other airports). I'm going with the family for an international vacation so we're going to have a bunch of baggage (4 x 2 large/medium bags max; not including smaller carry-on bags).

LAX is a terrible experience for almost every brand. BNA / Nashville in terminal options are great, easy and usually not very crowded. FLL Terminal 1 where you can walk over the concourse bridge to get to the Rental Car Center is nice. And, always loved MCO ease of access to the in terminal options.
Had the same experience on Friday, Jul. 30th. It's probably been posted somewhere but the LAX shuttle situation was a mess. If you're standing at a terminal past T2, the bus just drives by. I arrived at T4 around midday and it was the typical chaos but hertz simply didn't have enough shuttles running compared to the other companies.
They held a brand new Ford Edge for me with 5 miles. 2nd rental in a row at LAX where I got a brand new car (other was off the Pres Circle line). I also happened to see Pres Circle on the way to my car and it was jam packed. SUVs and a variety of cars. LAX is surely stepping up their Pres Circle game imo.
I'm renting for the first time from Midway Car Rental this coming weekend (rates at Hertz and others were sky high). I put in the address of the agency (6151 W. Century Blvd) and noticed it is quite close to terminal 7, from where I will be departing. Zooming in on Google maps satellite view, I saw a few cross walks.
Midway is the closest agency to the terminal. The next closest is several blocks further away. I've rented from quite a few LAX-area companies and have generally found that they're all among the worst I've dealt with anywhere. Maybe Midway is less awful -- its Google reviews are certainly much better than any of the others.
Rental Car Discussion - Renting a car at LAX - Budget - A general and a Budget specific question We are flying in the night before we need the car and staying at an airport hotel across the street from the Airport Blvd. Budget office, where you pick up the cars. I don't know if you have to check in/do paperwork AT THE
