Bakugan Battle Brawlers (爆丸 バトルブローラーズ, Bakugan Batoru Burōrāzu) is a Japanese anime television series produced by Nelvana Animation and TMS Entertainment under the direction of Mitsuo Hashimoto. The story centers on the lives of creatures called Bakugan and the "battle brawlers" who possess them.
After an original order of 26 episodes, they revealed in the next time credits of episode 26 that the season was extended by Teletoon and Cartoon Network to be 52 episodes. Most of the episodes originally premiered in North America on Teletoon except for episodes 27 through 29, 33 through 35, and episode 43, which premiered on the Cartoon Network.
For the U.S. release, Volumes 1 and 6 contained 5 episodes each, volumes 2 through 5 each had 4 episodes, and the seventh and eighth volumes, titled Chapter 1 and 2, each had 13 episodes. The first compilation was released on August 26, 2008 [ 4 ] with the eighth compilation released on July 6, 2010.

Bakugan: Legends (爆 (ばく) 丸 (がん) レジェンズ, Bakugan Rejenzu) is the fifth and final season of the animated television series Bakugan: Battle Planet. It was directed by Kazuya Ichikawa, who helmed the first three seasons, for TMS Entertainment , Nelvana Enterprises and Spin Master Entertainment .
