An air ioniser (or negative ion generator or Chizhevsky's chandelier) is a device that uses high voltage to ionise (electrically charge) air molecules. Negative ions, or anions, are particles with one or more extra electrons, conferring a net negative charge to the particle. Cations are positive ions missing one or more electrons, resulting in ...
This website is the first negative ions industry website in China, and its purpose is to rapidly promote the orderly development of the air negative ion (negative oxygen ion) industry. In 2020, the Tsinghua University successfully developed a medical-grade high-concentration negative oxygen ion generator.
Negative air ionization therapy (NAIs) uses air ionisers as a non-pharmaceutical treatment for respiratory disease, allergy, or stress -related health conditions. The mainstream scientific community considers many applications of NAIs to be pseudoscience. [1][2][3][4][5][6] Many negative ion products release ozone, a chemical known to cause ...
Negative ion products are products which claim to release negative ions and create positive health effects, although these claims are unsupported. [1] Many also claim to protect users from 5G radiation. These claims are likewise unsubstantiated. A market has developed for these products due to conspiracy theories about 5G. [2]
Van de Graaff generator. A Van de Graaff generator is an electrostatic generator which uses a moving belt to accumulate electric charge on a hollow metal globe on the top of an insulated column, creating very high electric potentials. It produces very high voltage direct current (DC) electricity at low current levels.
I think the section should be kept separate and renamed Negative Air Ion Therapy. (a) The predominant use of air ionizers is not for mood regulation, but air purification. It would be silly to mix the two topics. (b) There a many kinds of ions, chemical and gaseous. "Ion Therapy" is therefore a confusing misnomer. Mt12 19:38, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
