Analytic Philosophy is a quarterly peer-reviewed academic journal covering all areas of philosophy. It is published by Wiley and the editor-in-chief is David Sosa (University of Texas at Austin). It was established in 1960 as Philosophical Books, obtaining its current title in 2011.
The Philosophy Research Index was established as an indexing database containing bibliographic information on philosophical publications in several western languages. It contained listings for a range of philosophical publications, including books, anthologies, scholarly journals, dissertations, and other documents. [ 7 ]
The present staff of 25 editors and approximately 200 authors hold doctorate degrees and are professors at colleges and universities around the world, most notably from the United States, Great Britain, and Australia. The submission and review process of articles is the same as that with printed philosophy journals, books and reference works.
