The Peddie School is a college preparatory school in Hightstown, in Mercer County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It is a non-denominational , coeducational boarding school located on a 280-acre (110 ha) campus, and serves students in the ninth through twelfth grades , plus a small post-graduate class.
Paul Watkins (born January 1, 1964) [1] is an American author who currently lives with his wife, Cathy, and two children, Emma and Oliver, in Hightstown, New Jersey.He is a teacher and writer-in-residence at The Peddie School, and formerly taught at Lawrenceville School.

Blair primarily competes in the Mid-Atlantic Prep League (which includes Blair Academy, The Peddie School, The Lawrenceville School, The Hill School, Hun School of Princeton and Mercersburg Academy). The school's traditional mascot is the "Buccaneer" (with the team called the Bucs) and the school colors are navy blue, white and grey. [5]
Born to Max Prown and Matilda Cassileth in Freehold, Prown attended the Peddie School. [1] He received his Bachelor of Arts from Lafayette College (1951). He then continued on to receive two Master of Arts degrees from Harvard University (1953) and the University of Delaware in Early American Culture (1956), respectively.
