Only place I’ve ever seen mice on my patio was around my previous Blackstone 2 Burner. Never on the Griddle never any evidence on Griddle but under it. Specially when covered. Several times in the years I owned BS-2 a mouse would flee when removing the cover. I sold it for the Tabletop 17” but looking back I wonder if the cover attracted ...

I’ve seen some posts about difficulty keeping Blackstone griddles in good shape when they live outside, and I have just discovered something that really eliminates problems – a silicone griddle mat. I have a Blackstone that has lived year-round outside on the patio for several years. I just clean it, let it cool and throw the cover over it.

OK, just got 36" Blackstone for father's day. It will hopefully fit in well with my 3 different type smokers, and my Weber Kettle charcoal grill and Weber Genesis Gas Grill. Have seen and heard several ways of prepping the back side of the griddle. One camp says just season like the top side the...

The 22 model is by far superior to the 36. #1 the 36 has 4 burners which are spaced farther apart per SQ inch. #2 the 22 has 3 burners which are spaced closer per SQ inch giving you more even heat, and also more searing ability. Now, #3 the 22 has a lid, and also a removable portable stand.

  6. Has anyone made a hard cover for their Blackstone?

I'm still using the inverted, full sized aluminum restaurant pans under the cover. Keeps the cover from laying directly on the griddle top but it doesn't take care of my water problem. Mine sits out in the weather year round. I'd like to come up with a solid cover, at least for the griddle area.

One alternative to the hard cover. I inverted a large stainless steel mixing on top of the griddle and then put the Blackstone soft cover on it. Water now runs off vs pooling as it did without the bowl. I've had it for a few years without any rusting problems or re-seasoning with that solution.

Apr 18, 2020. #4. Breakfast cooked the next morning had a light fish taste, maybe not cleaned well enough and I do find myself using the same side all the time. After using I do use water and scrape clean. Then light coat of oil.

So after seeing tons of incredible looking Blackstone cooks, I finally caved into the temptation on Black Friday and picked one up for $99. I haven't gotten a chance to test it out yet, but I'm needing to get a cover for it. Does anybody have any recommendations for a good cover? I've seen...

Plus, its thickness would interfere with putting on the Blackstone soft cover so I'd need to remove it when doing so. Solution: I mounted it on the inside of the shelf. The magnets on this rail are incredibly strong and it works perfectly! Here's a picture of the rail on the upside down shelf removed from the griddle - And the spatulas stay in ...

Now, to repair that rust is easy. Sprinkle some kosher salt on the surface, cut a raw potato in half and use the cut side to rub the salt over the rust. Wipe it clean, hit it with a thin coat of canola or evoo and cook on it! E.
