r/MandelaEffect. r/MandelaEffect. “The Mandela Effect is when a large group of people remember something contrary to the known publicly accepted fact” Do you remember certain personal or world events happening differently than they apparently did? While looking for a new KlipperScreen device I found this guide on how to use any Android device with an X Server app to use as a KlipperScreen output device. It works amazingly well! pic. edit: fixed pic link. Reduce, reuse, repurpose. Great way to recycle an old cell phone and not have to buy a touchscreen. Nice.

First you are going to call your old phone the cold phone and your current phone the hot phone: Take cold phone, remove SIM card, do a factory reset. Update software with wifi. Download blue wallet. Disconnect from wifi and forget all wifi setting.
When your phone is giving you a (presumably) more accurate result than a GPS tracker, it's because it's triangulating cell towers and wifi access points and all kinds of shit that eats battery quickly when in constant use. Especially on an old phone with an old battery. I doubt that an old phone could give you more than 45mins - 1hr of active ...
