I woke up on Sunday morning and realised my facebook has been hacked. Hacker changed email and phone number. Setup 2FA. After reading so many posts, I did below steps and finally got my account back. Add another email to account. Check your account on one of existing browser or app. Click forgot my password.

Fill out the questions & get a code sent to you through an email address not linked to Facebook. Go into that email & get the code & attach the code & a photo of your drivers licence on the Facebook thing you have opened.
The steps for me were: That link. Gave them a new email address and they mailed another link. At that link I had to submit a copy of my identification to prove it was really me (uploaded a photo) After a 10-15 minute review, they emailed me another link where I could reset the password and regain access to my account.

Once you’re in, change your password and primary email, remove sub-emails that you don’t recognize, remove all sessions that appear in your devices list. Make sure to setup 2FA and mobile number so next time if someone try to access your account, they can’t because they need your sms code. I’m pretty sure that FB is monitoring by bot.
