Van Buren County is a county located in the U.S. state of Arkansas.As of the 2020 census, the population was 15,796. [1] The county seat is Clinton. [2] The county was formed on November 11, 1833, and named for Martin Van Buren, President of the United States, who was Vice President at the time of the county's formation.

Sulphur Springs is an unincorporated community in Van Buren County, Arkansas, United States. Sulphur Springs, which was formerly named Morganton, is located near Arkansas Highway 92, 11.5 miles (18.5 km) southeast of Clinton.

The Van Buren County Courthouse is located at the corner of Griggs and Main Streets in downtown Clinton, Arkansas, the county seat of Van Buren County. It is a two-story masonry structure, built primarily out of local stone. Its main facade is five bays wide, each flanked by broad sections that project a small amount.
