Yeh I just found you can install a theme called Dracula for obsidian then just put # in front of the text. The more # you put the text will change to another colour. e.g. # purple. ## red. ### blue. etc. Depending on your use case Admonition plugin is another option.
The issue remains that the tint can be hard to compare side by side. Comparing simply black and graphite grey, they both look a lot more neutral, but when obsidian is added in, the slight blue tint makes graphite grey look greenish, which it really is not (or only VERY slightly). Assuming you mean nodes in the graph view, you can click the gear icon (in top left corner), and add a group. Then input the search parameters for which nodes should be a particular color. Click the dot to the right to select the color for that group. 14. Reply.
RTF and docx etc are designed to handle color, so managing it in those formats is straightforward. I've stopped adding my own color markup, use highlightr sometimes but do everything that needs a lot of colour work in rtf/docx.

I'd like to add, as a suggestion to anyone reading, that you can also change the color of bolded text by putting this into the css file: strong, .cm-s-obsidian span.cm-formatting-strong, .cm-s-obsidian span.cm-strong { color: rgb(175, 239, 101); } I think it really helps to make the text stand out a lot more.
