The Readyville Mill was a historic mill located in Readyville, Tennessee, located in Cannon County, near the border of Rutherford County.. The original water-powered grist mill was constructed by the community founder Colonel Charles Ready in 1812.
Colonel Charles Ready's son, also named Charles Ready, was born in Readyville in 1802, elected to the Tennessee House of Representatives in 1835, and elected to the United States House of Representatives for Tennessee's 5th congressional district in 1853.
