North Sydney Girls' High School (abbreviated as NSGHS, more commonly known as NSG) is a government-funded single-sex academically selective secondary day school for girls, located in Crows Nest, in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Established in 1914, [2] the school caters for approximately 910 students from Year 7 to Year 12.
Monte Sant'Angelo is the oldest independent girls' school on Sydney's north shore. The College was established in 1865, on the corner of Miller and McLaren Street, North Sydney, by Mother Ignatius McQuoin of the Sisters of Mercy. [9] By 1879, the school had outgrown its original site and subsequently moved to its current location at Miller Street.
In the majority of elementary schools, students are not required to wear a uniform to school. Where they are required, many boys wear white shirts, short trousers, and caps. Young boys often dress more formally in their class pictures than they do other days of the school year. Girls' uniforms might include a grey pleated skirt and white blouse.

The new school was named Marist College North Shore and was a Secondary school (Years 7–12) for boys in the North Sydney and Mosman area. The college adopted the colours blue, black and gold and the former Marist Brothers Mosman school motto, "Virtus Ubique Vincit" (Latin) meaning "Courage Conquers All".
