Chandrabadani is a mountain (2,277 m above sea level). On the border of Devaprayag tehsil and Pratapnagar tehsil is the well-known temple of Chandrabadni Devi, lying at the top of the mountain about 10 km. north of Kandi Khal (a place on the Devaprayag-Kirti Nagar metalled road).
So, this temple as the name suggests, is located atop a hill that has a 360 degree view of the surrounding valleys. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva . The trail to the top is a completely isolated trek and due to its remote location, gives an experience of wilderness.
