European route 25 near Bard, Italy. European route E25 is a north–south European route from Hook of Holland in the Netherlands , to Palermo in Italy which includes ferry crossings from Genoa to Bastia ( Corsica ), from Bonifacio to Porto Torres ( Sardinia ) and from Cagliari to Palermo ( Sicily ).
The third ferry operated on a trial basis until November 2014 but returned from March 30, 2015, due to the large number of cyclists. The ferry has been in service ever since, except for a few weeks around and after New Year's Eve when planned maintenance takes place on the ferries so that one ferry less is available.

High-speed Sea Service or Stena HSS was a class of high-speed craft developed by and originally operated by Stena Line on European international ferry routes. The HSS 1500 had an in-service speed of 40 knots (75 km/h). Several patents were registered to Stena Line in the development of the HSS, and four vessels were completed between 1996 and 1997.
