The Alexandra Park and Palace (Public Purposes) Act 1900 (63 & 64 Vict. c. cclix) changed the status of the park from private ownership to a public trust. In 2011, a group called Riding in Haringey planned an equestrian centre. [4] The centre of the racecourse has been a cricket ground since the 19th century and used by Alexandra Park CC from the early 1900s.
