The 890 Adventure has been the successor to the KTM 790 Adventure since 2021. The increase in displacement by 90 cm 3 (5.5 cu in) and the associated increase in performance corresponds to the general trend of other manufacturers who have increased the displacement of their mid-range motorcycle models to around 900 cm 3 (55 cu in). The Original 200NS was launched in 2012, featuring a carburetted 200cc Liquid Cooled Single cylinder engine. The Motorcycle was briefly discontinued in 2015 following lackluster sales, but was revived in 2017 featuring the new "NS200" Moniker.
