The Endurance World Championship (FIM EWC) is the premier worldwide endurance championship in motorcycle road racing.The championship season consists of a series of endurance races (with a duration of six, eight, twelve or twenty-four hours) held on permanent racing facilities.

The 2019–20 FIM Endurance World Championship was the 41st season of the FIM Endurance World Championship, a motorcycle racing series co–organised by the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) and Eurosport. The season started at the Bol d'Or on the 21 September 2019 and ended with the 12 Hours of Estoril on the 27 September 2020.
The 2022 FIM Endurance World Championship (FIM EWC) marked the 43rd season of the motorcycle racing series, organised jointly by the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) and Discovery Sports Events, a division of Warner Bros. Discovery.
The 2021 championship was scheduled to consists of 5 races in Europe and Asia. The calendar was released on 29 December 2020. [1] On 17 March 2021; the calendar was updated and the races of 12 Hours of Estoril and Suzuka 8 Hours swapped their places in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. [2]

The 24 Heures de Spa-Francorchamps Motos (previously called 24 Heures de Liège moto) is a motorcycle endurance race held annually since 1971 on the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, Francorchamps, Stavelot, Wallonia, Belgium and is part of the Endurance FIM World Championship. In 2024 the race will be run in 8 hours format. [1]
The race is part of the FIM Endurance World Championship for motorcycles and with the exception of 2005, due to the high importance the big four Japanese manufacturers place on the race, the governing bodies set a race date that avoids conflict with any of the other major championship races.
