The formation of the band dates back to the late '90s when Arnob was a student of Visva-Bharati University at Santiniketan. Due to his interest in music, he casually formed a band with his friends in Santineketan in a motive to spread out Bengali folk songs. One day, Anusheh came to visit Shantiniketan, who was a family friend of Arnob.

Shironamhin (English: Untitled) is a Bangladeshi rock band formed in Dhaka in 14 April 1996. Following as a rock group emerging from Dhaka's underground music in the late 1990s, they were distinguished for their extended psychedelic and progressive compositions, multi-instrumental experimentation, and philosophical lyrics and became one of the leading band of the Bengali progressive rock genre.
The band's first album was released in 1988. Naquib Khan and Pilu Khan sang a song titled 'Tomar Koshter Chikare Jonno Nilam Ami' in the film To Be Continued which is directed by Iftekhar Ahmed Fahmi. In 2009, Renaissance took part in a studio concert organised by ABC Radio's Eid Anondo.
