The Brock Badgers are the athletics teams that represent Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario.To date, the Badgers have won 47 National Championships and 94 Ontario Championships, and are members of the OUA, U Sports, CUFLA, CURC, OIWFA and OUBHL.

Banks began his collegiate career in 1986 with the Brock Badgers having previously played for the Leamington Flyers. [2] Banks played for the Badgers for three seasons, with his most productive season coming in his final year, registering 33 points in 26 games, along with 88 PIM. [2] During his time at Brock University, he majored in sociology. [3]
