When we passed Robbie’s, I immediately thought of a traditional fish camp. The buildings are a bit run down and there is an outdoor flea market like area. The restaurant, The Hungry Tarpon, provides outdoor seating with breathtaking views. The highlight of visiting Robbie’s is feeding the tarpon.

Robbie's is located on the very northern end of Islamorada. It's just off the overseas highway and is easy to find. There is also ample parking. We stopped a Robbie's to feed the tarpon. These massive fish congregate underneath the dock. For a few dollars, you can buy a bucket of bait. The fish will jump up and grab the bait from your hands.
