STL 9 is made from Birdseye Maple, Ebony and Micarta. I have had my STL9 for a little over 2 years. I have had and played with several cues. I have had Meucci, Joss, Bender, Durbin, Josey, Harris, Diveney, Joss West and Gilbert. This is the best hitting and feeling cue I have ever had. I wish I had purchased this cue first.
