The prime minister of the Republic of Namibia is the leader of the Government of Namibia. The prime minister is appointed by the president and co-ordinates the work of the Cabinet. They also advise and assist the president in the execution of the functions of government.
From 2005 to 2010, she was the minister of information and broadcasting in Namibia's cabinet. It is mandated to include the following positions: the President of Namibia, the Prime Minister of Namibia and any positions that the President so appoints. [1] All cabinet members also sit in the National Assembly.

Nahas Gideon Angula (born 22 August 1943) [1] [2] is a Namibian politician who served as the third Prime Minister of Namibia from 21 March 2005 to 4 December 2012. He was succeeded by Hage Geingob in a cabinet reshuffle after the 2012 SWAPO Party congress. He subsequently served as Minister of Defence from 2012 to 2015.
