Okuyasu's father is a bizarre creature that can regenerate rapidly, rendering him immortal. He was mutated by a flesh bud made from Dio's cells after the latter's death at the hands of Jotaro. At first, Okuyasu and Keicho plotted to kill their father to relieve him of his suffering, creating Stand users via the Bow and Arrow for this very purpose.
During Ryohei's funeral, Josuke and Koichi follow a youth named Keicho Nijimura, Angelo's benefactor, to a derelict house where they are jumped by both him and his younger brother Okuyasu. As Okuyasu and his Stand The Hand hold off Josuke, Keicho drags Koichi into the house after shooting an arrow through his neck.
The next day, Josuke and Koichi pass by a derelict house where Josuke is jumped by Okuyasu Nijimura as Okuyasu's older brother Keicho fires an arrow through Koichi's neck. Josuke is kept from reaching Koichi's aid by Okuyasu, whose Stand The Hand can scrape away anything its right hand touches and instantly close the gap left afterwards.
