The Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate (Arabic: محافظة رام الله والبيرة Muḥāfaẓat Rām Allāh wa l Bīra) is one of 16 governorates of Palestine. It covers a large part of the central West Bank, on the northern border of the Jerusalem Governorate. Its district capital or muhfaza (seat) is the city of al-Bireh. [2] [3]

Beit Liqya (Arabic: بيت لقيا) is a Palestinian town located in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate in the northern West Bank. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, it had a population of approximately 9,304 in 2017. [1] Beit Liqya is located 13.5 km southwest of Ramallah.

Shuqba has a total area of 13,990 dunams (1,399 ha; 3,460 acres), and the built-up area comprises 616 dunams (61.6 ha; 152 acres). [3] Shuqba was home to 5,459 inhabitants in 2017. [1]
