Their email completely swiftly sidestepped my question considering I was asking about command Center. I also found it odd that I couldn't find any articles on Google or MSI. Thankfully I've got Command Center, and probably the install .exe. their response: Thanks for contacting MSI technical support.
I finally did get it working again though by installing Alienware-Command-Center-Application_3PXXP_WIN_5.4.35_A00 and then the Alienware-OC-Controls-Application_RW4YJ_WIN64_1.3.68.1380_A01 files Now it says update available but I am not touching it because it breaks it again if I try. My system is a 51m if that helps.
I have MSI's A88XM-Gaming mobo, running Win7 Pro, and I cannot find "Command Center" on it anywhere ...
Try to remove the MSI center with this tool, reboot, and reinstall the MSI center. If nothing changes contact MSI support, or open a thread on the MSI official forum . Reply reply
What I did was to uninstall msi command center, msi gaming app and any programs that are related to fan control/speeds and download and install fresh new updated drivers Since Jan 15 I've been monitoring my rig and it is running ok I hope this helps my rig consist of MSI B250M Mortar Intel i5 7500 1*8G Crucial Ballistix Sport Zotac GTX 1060 6G AMP!
If I'm using MSI's Command Center software, is the configuration for fan profiles supposed to be permanent? Do I need to set the app to start with system? Is there a BIOS configuration I need to do to set the fan profiles so they stick? I like what I've got, but it seems that it's not holding across reboots.
Im kinda saddened I ruined MSI Command Center by attempting to oc, I went too far, pc crashed, and now opening Command Center causes a BSOD. I do not know how to fix it, but atleast it gives me a peace of mind I dont need it.
