The guide button on my remote opens the over the air antenna guide. To open the Pluto TV guide, I hit the select button in the middle of my directional pad (while in Pluto TV app). That's why I am confused on how to get out. It's like they designed it for the least common denominator remote. Every one has a direction pad and select/OK button ...
Even being able to scroll ahead within the current guide would be a great help. And being able skip ahead a day or 2 and make some viewing plans. Yeah, a real schedule guide is needed. Someday? I am adding my voice to this too. I haven’t figured out how to look ahead on the Roku. I frequently find myself wondering what’s scheduled for ...
Pluto tv does have one, but it isn't great. You can see the schedule for the next 9 to 12 hours by manually scrolling/clicking to the right while having channel selected. You might have to wait for it to buffer at a few points while scrolling/clicking. Edit: Sadly, though i don't think there is a way to look up anything beyond that.
Unfortunately no. I doubt they are available in Pluto Tv's on demand section either. Pluto Tv intentionally does not have a full guide as it supposed to be spontaneous not appointment style tv. You probably already know this: the episodes from the 1963 Dr.
2. Darth_Haskell. • 4 yr. ago. On the actual Pluto app. The exact message is "NO DATA AVALIABLE" all in caps like that. If you click the info icon, it brings up a blank black screen with no info. Live channels works perfectly fine with Pluto, but I use the regular app to access the on-demand stuff. 1. Main_Wind3803.
The alternative servicescan be low cost (I have never paid more tha $5/month on streaming). And I find it more simple to just select among the "continue watching" or "my library" shows that I already know I enjoy. I also get fewer commercials. It may be different, if you are really in to classic TV from the 70s/80s/90s.
The show name on guide isn’t correct (it shows Haunted House but Chicago Fire is playing) but otherwise it matches with the schedule for the ION channel that’s OTA (they’re both showing the same episode of Chicago Fire as I type this). That’s pretty cool.
Doesn't sound like TV Everywhere would work then since it sounds like they are just recording the screen once the browser is open and streaming. This is the same exact thing PlayON does. It doesn't capture the stream but records the screen as it is playing.
PS: i tried starting over, I add the samsung m3u + XML and hit refresh guide and everything is looking good, I then add plex m3u+ XML and hit refresh guide, it takes a while to go through, once done the new plex channels show up in the guide but have no program guide details on what is playing
As above. I can get to the vertical list of channels (the Channel Guide, on the left) but as of the past 3-4 days there is nothing in the boxes to the right of the Channel Guide. So (for example) I can click down to True Crime channel but that simply puts the indicator into a sea of blank boxes.
