The fashion industry has flourished in the changing environment of the fashion world. Since Pakistan came into being, its fashion has evolved in different phases and developed a unique identity. Today, Pakistani fashion is a combination of traditional and modern dress and has become a mark of Pakistani culture.
Mango is a seasonal fruit of the region during summers. [1] Sohan halwa is a traditional speciality of southern Punjab, particularly Multan. [1] The southern Punjab cities of Dera Ghazi Khan, Bahawalpur, Uch Sharif and Mailsi are also known for their sohan halwa products. [1]
The traditional clothing for the lower region is the khat partug which is a shalwar kameez combination and is worn by men and women. The khat (also called khattaki or in Marwat Pashtu, kamis) [1] is the shirt which fits closely to the body to the waist and then flares out, either to the knees, or in the case of women, to the ankles.

[4] [5] It is also the national dress of Pakistan, [6] [7] and since the later 1960s, the salwar is being used in government offices in Pakistan. [8] Salwar can be distinguished from the Punjabi suthan which is shorter than the salwar.
