Park City Center is a shopping mall located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and is the largest enclosed shopping center in Lancaster County. It is situated at the intersection of U.S. Route 30 and Harrisburg Pike. The mall has over 170 stores and features Boscov's, JCPenney, Kohl's, Raymour & Flanigan, and Round 1 Bowling & Amusement. [3]

In January 1959, Watt & Shand acquired Appel & Weber, a jewelry store, and in June 1968, it acquired Hager's Department Store. In August 1984, the downtown store completed a $1 million (~$2.48 million in 2023), three-year renovation. By 1991, the downtown store was 220,000 square feet (20,000 m 2), cobbled together from seven different buildings.
The Bon-Ton entered the Lancaster, Pennsylvania, market in 1992 with the acquisition of two Watt & Shand locations in downtown Lancaster and Park City Center. The company continued to expand its presence in the New York metropolitan area in 1993 with a store in the Wilton Mall in Saratoga Springs in the former Addis & Dey's space.
The bridge has remained despite the development of the surrounding countryside. Landis Mill Covered Bridge crosses the Little Conestoga Creek just a block west of Park City Mall. Built in 1873, this covered bridge uses the Kingpost Truss, no arch, and at only 53 feet long, it is the shortest covered bridge in Lancaster county.
In 1997, the Waterworks Ferry Dock in Presque Isle State Park received a $1.1 million renovation and dredging to reverse decades of deterioration. [1] Water taxi service between the Waterworks and downtown Erie began on June 7, 1997 with the introduction of the Presque Isle Express—a 40-foot (10 m), 36-passenger pontoon boat. [2]
