Day6 (Even of Day), also known as Even of Day, is the first sub-unit of the band Day6 based in South Korea, consisting of Young K, Wonpil and Dowoon. Formed by JYP Entertainment , they debuted on August 31, 2020, with their first EP The Book of Us: Gluon .
South Korean pop rock band Day6 held their debut concert "D-Day" on November 21–22, 2015. [1] They held 30 concerts during the Every Day6 project as they performed two to three times a month in Seoul in 2017. It includes the Finale Concert "The Best Moments" and four shows in Busan, Daegu and Daejeon which took place in early 2018.
He was also a part of JYP's vocalist team alongside his eventual Day6 bandmates Junhyeok, Jae, Sungjin and Wonpil. In 2014, Kang was selected as a member of five-member rock band 5Live under JYP, but their debut was cancelled. The band was reformed as Day6 after the addition of drummer Dowoon in 2015. [11]
Band Aid is the ninth extended play (EP) by South Korean band Day6, released on September 2, 2024, through Studio J and JYP Entertainment. Produced by frequent collaborator Hong Ji-sang, the EP was co-written by all band members. The EP contains eight tracks led by the single "Melt Down" with a theme revolving around comfort and healing.
