TCGJapan does really have any security check. You create your account, choose your cards, give your address and pay. That's it. I always use tcgjapan when i need to get some japanese cards, although sometimes it will take a while for them to send the cards they always arrived in good quality with great protection.

TCGJapan/CardShop Japan. Hey guys. Yesterday I made an order in CardShop Japan, brought the DBT02 Encounter Cards for Kagero and now I've been on "awaiting fullfillment". They also let you access a whole network of platforms for everything Japanese, like Amazon, Rakuten and Mercari. Mercari is a great 'buy now' alternative to Yahoo JP auctions and has good selection. Shipping is hella expensive right now, though. JP's Airmail was shut down for overseas shipment for covid.
