My Xbox is in dev mode, I set up the account and paid for it, but when typing in the url for remote access on my laptop, my browser can’t open the page. I’ve tried multiple browsers and none work, I always get a variation of the message “the serve lost the connection.”
Yeah, it’s literally the same thing as the portal, if it can be played on the portal (the portal uses your already existing PS5, it does not have the ability to play any games without it) it can be streamed on the steam deck too or some games at this point have been ported to PC, and the steam deck can play a lot of those natively.
I’m porting a Unity template to Xbox One so I can see what the process is like. I get into Dev Mode and I go to Remote Access. However, the URL I’m supposed to type doesn’t work on ANY browser, not even after I cleared their caches. Any help? Didn’t think Microsoft would make this so frustrating. EDIT: I mean Device Portal.
Found this thread and was having the same issue. I found out it was because my PC was connected via LAN and the Xbox was connected via WiFi. Due to the way my network was set up, I had to connect to my network via WiFi as well in order for the PC to connect to the XBOX.
