I published 3 shorts this week. My best one analytically has a 70% viewed vs 30% swiped, a 148% average percent viewed on a 26 second video and YouTube has shown it in the feed a whopping 444 times in 4 days with 345 views.... Meanwhile, another one has 48% viewed vs 52% swiped, a 56% average percent viewed on a 43 second video and YouTube has ...
E_m_maker. •. You need 334 watch hours each month to get to 4k in a year. If you are getting 4k views each month you need to get those people to watch about 5 minutes each on average. Regular and consistent output. Both in the amount and the quality is crucial. There are few ways to do this.
Youtube Premium should allow two devices to play videos/music at the same time. I hate that when my music plays at the background, I can't watch videos without the music stopping all of a sudden and Youtube asking me, like "Continue?", well duh, yes!!! Of course!!!
Youtube is not an average sided company, it's a huge company and they have huge profits. The amount of ads you see without an adblocker is actually insane. For a 10 minutes video you will probably get 4-5 ads, not even the old fashioned tv did this.

Yet some of my shorts with WAY worse stats got IMMEDIATE push out to the shorts feed with thousands and thousands of ...

The issue is, more ads, unfiltered ads and expensive premium prices are the exact reasons why People use ad blockers. If more people use ad blockers, YouTube receives less money and therefore needs to increase frequency of ads or price of premium even more. And thus an endless cycle.
Yes. That was a huge selling point for us when we left DirecTV. The ONLY gotcha here is that any profile (gmail address) used away from your account's designated "home location", has to "check in" (aka: sign in from the home location on the account) at least once every 3 months to continue access. You also are still limited to 3 concurrent ...
