Parish History. Mother of Divine Providence Parish was created on December 8, 1954, the closing date of the Marian Year, by the late John Cardinal O’Hara, Archbishop of Philadelphia. Reverend James M. McGrory was named as our founding pastor.
The Mother of Divine Providence Christmas Craft Fair & Bazaar is held annually on the 3rd Saturday of November. It provides the community with an opportunity to come together for fellowship and fun, while getting a jump start on their Christmas shopping.
