Carson Grant Benge (born January 20, 2003) is an American professional baseball outfielder in the New York Mets organization. He was drafted by the Mets in the 2024 MLB draft in the first round, 19th overall pick. He played college baseball as an outfielder and pitcher for the Oklahoma State Cowboys.
He originally committed to play college baseball for the Michigan Wolverines but later switched his commitment to the Oklahoma State Cowboys after a coaching change. [1] [2] As a senior at St. Mary's in 2022, he batted .354 with 13 home runs and 42 RBIs. [3] He went unselected in the 2022 Major League Baseball draft and enrolled at Oklahoma State.
