I was just at Six Flags Great Adventure this past Friday with my senior classmates and I was considering going on it when all the boys who had just been on it said that it would either hurt my crotch or my head (one kid was short enough that when he was getting off the ride the seat somehow sprung back up at him and hit him right in the balls).

Went to Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ yesterday. It’s now $45 to park? Wtf? If that’s not price gouging, idk what is.
The Six Flags customer service told me this via email: “You can take the bus to freehold nj, then take a lyft or uber to the park.” But I also read on the other thread that finding an uber or a lyft back from the park is difficult. I’m gonna try to ask my uber to schedule a trip back if i can ðŸ˜
EDIT: The NJ Transit 308 bus is not operating for the 2024 season. It does not appear that Six Flags Great Adventure will be accessible by transit. Went out to Six Flags Great Adventure today by bus, and given it’s the first weekend running for the year thought I’d provide some information on how it works in case anyone is planning a trip.

The pulled pork mac and cheese from Main Street Pub (and during normal years in the ‘Best of the West’ by the Sawmill Plunge) is great for dinner. I also really enjoyed the Steak Quesadilla at Casa de Quesadilla for lunch.
Great Adventure opens at 11am on Sunday but they usually start letting people in before 11am. The first few hours are the key to getting many rides off your list so don’t arrive at Noon. Early in the day many rides will allow you to re-ride if there is no line (that won’t happen later in the day).
Add in the millions of tourists we see annually, and it’s just insane that Six Flags doesn’t have any way to get people over to them when they’re just over an hour away. I want to believe that NJ Transit threw them for a loop by cancelling this bus route (a few weeks ago the NJ website said “we’ll see you next season!”) but I’m ...
