    The STEP can be opened using a Fusion 360 Personal License but a SLDPRT cannot. Here is a link to the files types that can be opened with various Fusion 360 license types. You can go the the File menu, select Open and pick the STEP from your hard drive and open it directly. If you attach the STEP file, the Forum users can test if it is valid.
