The first religious procession was held led by the parochial vicar of Pagbilao, Fr. Severino Salvania, who organized a mass and baptism. The Glorioso couple soon donated their lot to the future parish priest, Fr. Vicente Urlanda, Curate of Pagbilao, presented to bishop Obviar, the petition of the people for a regular priest.

The Polillo Islands is a group of about 27 islands in the Philippine Sea lying about 25 km (16 mi) to the east of the Philippine island of Luzon.It is separated from the mainland Luzon Island by the Polillo Strait and forms the northern side of Lamon Bay.

Atimonan was founded by Simeona Mangaba on February 4, 1608, along the banks of the big Maling River, now known as Atimonan River. Living along the riverbank, the people have always been prey to Moro attacks and so for fear of Moro reprisals, the inhabitants decided to transfer to Palsabangon, now a barrio of Pagbilao, Quezon.
