Benton lies in the center of the county encompassing the hills just south and west of Clarks River. Marshall County is a county located in far western portion of the U.S. state of Kentucky.As of the 2020 census, the population was 31,659. [1] Its county seat is Benton. Doe Run Inn is a restaurant/inn business two miles southeast of Brandenburg, Kentucky. It is within the Doe Run Creek Historic District, which was placed on the National Register of Historic Places on December 19, 1978.
