The Washburne Soccer and Track Stadium (formerly Westcott Field) is a soccer-specific stadium on the campus of Southern Methodist University in University Park, Texas (an enclave of Dallas). It has a capacity of 2,577, and is home to the SMU Mustangs men's and women's soccer teams.
On November 6, 2006, the SMU men's soccer team finished the regular season ranked No. 2 in the nation. Additionally, SMU won the C-USA title game, beating Kentucky 2–0 in Tulsa. This C-USA championship win is the sixth conference title for SMU since 1997. The SMU men's soccer team finished the 2010 season with an overall record of 16-2-2.

It was the program's 45th season fielding a men's varsity soccer team, and their 7th season in the AAC. The 2019 season was Kevin Hudson's fifth year as head coach for the program. SMU finished the season with an 18–2–1 overall record and a 5–1–1 conference record, second-best in the AAC.
The 2024 SMU Mustangs women's soccer team represented Southern Methodist University during the 2024 NCAA Division I women's soccer season. The Mustangs were led by head coach Nicole Nelson, in her third season.
