Pace University is a private university with campuses in New York City and Westchester County, New York, United States.It was established in 1906 as a business school by the brothers Homer St. Clair Pace and Charles A. The Michael Schimmel Center for the Arts was the principal theatre of Pace University and is located at the University's New York City campus in Lower Manhattan. Facing City Hall near the foot of the Brooklyn Bridge and blocks from the World Trade Center, it provided performance and assembly facilities to the university and the general public.
