This project work also aims at determining the correct value of density by clearing the objects touching the borders of the image. In this project three applications are taken into account and using Matlab with image processing toolbox the count and density values are calculated for each.
The primary difference between a computer algebra system and a traditional calculator is the ability to deal with equations symbolically rather than numerically. The precise uses and capabilities of these systems differ greatly from one system to another, yet their purpose remains the same: manipulation of symbolic equations.
Calculate a cell index using comparisons of the contour level(s) with the data values at the cell corners. Use a pre-built lookup table, keyed on the cell index, to describe the output geometry for the cell. Apply linear interpolation along the boundaries of the cell to calculate the exact contour position.
Mathcad was conceived and developed by Allen Razdow and Josh Bernoff at Mathsoft founded by David Blohm and Razdow. It was released in 1986. It was the first system to support WYSIWYG editing and recalculation of mathematical calculations mixed with text. [3]
GNU Octave is a scientific programming language for scientific computing and numerical computation.Octave helps in solving linear and nonlinear problems numerically, and for performing other numerical experiments using a language that is mostly compatible with MATLAB.
[7] Density estimation is also frequently used in anomaly detection or novelty detection : [ 8 ] if an observation lies in a very low-density region, it is likely to be an anomaly or a novelty. In hydrology the histogram and estimated density function of rainfall and river discharge data, analysed with a probability distribution , are used to ...

PottersWheel is a MATLAB toolbox for mathematical modeling of time-dependent dynamical systems that can be expressed as chemical reaction networks or ordinary differential equations (ODEs). [1] It allows the automatic calibration of model parameters by fitting the model to experimental measurements.
