The Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine (上海交通大学医学院), formerly Shanghai Second Medical University, is a public medical school in Shanghai, China. Applicants must not have received any financial support from the Chinese government, such as the CSC scholarship, during their studies. Applicants must not have received this award previously.
Its predecessor was the Boji Medical School, which was founded in 1866, it was the earliest Western medical school in mainland China. Sun Yat-sen studied medicine here in 1886. After several adjustments, the school developed into Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences.
