USS Massachusetts was an Indiana-class, pre-dreadnought battleship and the second United States Navy ship comparable to foreign battleships of its time. [5] Authorized in 1890, and commissioned six years later, she was a small battleship, though with heavy armor and ordnance. The ship class also pioneered the use of an intermediate battery.
RMS Majestic was an ocean liner which entered service in 1890 and was operated by the White Star Line. She was the sister ship of RMS Teutonic. Majestic and her sister were the flagships of White Star Line's fleet for around a decade, until Oceanic entered service in 1899. She had a total career of 24 years, until being scrapped in 1914.

RMS Empress of China was an ocean liner built in 1890-1891 by Naval Construction & Armament Co., Barrow, England for Canadian Pacific Steamships (CP). [1] This ship—the first of three CP vessels to be named Empress of China [2] —regularly traversed the trans-Pacific route between the west coast of Canada and the Far East until she struck an underwater reef and sank in Tokyo harbour in 1911.
