Lee Chae-yeon (Korean: 이채연; born January 11, 2000), known mononymously as Chaeyeon, is a South Korean singer, dancer, rapper and songwriter. She is a former member of the South Korean–Japanese girl group Iz*One , which she joined after placing 12th place on Mnet 's girl group survival show Produce 48 . [ 1 ]
She returned to Korea with her first official album It's My Time under her new stage name, Chae Yeon. Initially, she was simply viewed as yet another "sexy concept" singer, as many female singers were at that time.
After failing to pass auditions held by Fantagio, Chaeryeong and her sister were cast by JYP Entertainment (JYP) through the K-pop Star 3 television series. [3] In 2015, Chaeryeong participated in JYP's survival show Sixteen but did not make the final lineup of the winning girl group, Twice. [4]
Jang Won-young (Korean: 장원영; born August 31, 2004), also known mononymously as Wonyoung, is a South Korean singer.She is a member of the South Korean girl group Ive under Starship Entertainment and former member of project girl group Iz*One, having finished first in Mnet's girl group survival reality television show Produce 48 in 2018.
Her family consists of her parents and an older sister. Her mother is the theater actress Lee Ran-hee. [1] Kim attended Seoul Poi Elementary School, Guryong Middle School, and Gaepo High School. She later transferred to Hanlim Multi Art School, graduating in 2019. [2] In 2012, Kim performed in KBS' Korea Children's Song Contest. [3]
