The Reverend Jesse R. Zeigler Residence is a Frank Lloyd Wright house in Frankfort, Kentucky. The Zeigler house is the only Frank Lloyd Wright structure built in Kentucky during the lifetime of the famous architect. The design came from a chance meeting between Zeigler and Wright while both were traveling to Europe in late October 1909.
This annexation moved the southern boundary of the city as far south as the city's House of Refuge, an area which is now the University of Louisville campus and the southern border of Old Louisville. A year later, architect Gideon Shryock called the area "a growing and beautiful suburban locality". By 1876 about a quarter of the area was occupied.
